The SmartWave has 2 modes for circulation: Synchronous and Alternate. Each of the 2 channels can support multiple pumps, up to a combined 100 Watts per channel. There is also a feeding timer that can be programmed for once or twice daily feeding. LED lights on the front of the unit identify power to the unit and what channel is currently powered. The Smart Wave will work will all Koralia currently sold in addition to any other manufacturers that offer 'timer' or 'controller' safe pumps.
